Abstract: We show that every analytic subset of
C^{m} of pure
dimension n can be locally approximated by a sequence of Nash
sets of pure dimension n. The approximation is expressed by
means of the notion of local uniform convergence which is next
replaced by the stronger convergence of holomorphic chains and the
convergence of the currents of integration over the considered
sets.
