To compile the software you need a gcc compiler version 3.4 or newer

Unzip the downloaded source code
Go to the make directory of the source code and enter
make target=win (when compiling for MS Windows 9x/2k/Me/XP)
make (when compiling for Linux)
The compiled executable will be placed in the bin directory.
