CONMECH Conferences
Recent Advances of Numerical Methods for Nonlinear Problems, Hangzhou, May 31 - June 3, 2019
The International Conference on “Recent Advances of Numerical Methods for Nonlinear Problems”
will be held in Hangzhou, May 31 - June 3. The Organizing Committee consists of
Weimin Han (Co-Chair, University of Iowa, USA), Danfu Han (Co-Chair, Hangzhou Normal University, China),
Xiaoliang Cheng (Zhejiang University, China), and Xianliang Hu (Zhejiang University, China).
In this meeting the paricipants will come from three CONMECH institutions: University of Iowa,
Zhejiang University, and Jagiellonian University.
International Conference organized by
the Laboratory of Mathematics and Physics (LAMPS) of the University of Perpignan Via Domitia (UPVD),
June 13 - 14, 2019 in honor of Professor Meir Shillor for his 70th birthday.
The aim of the conference is to discuss recent developments on Mathematical Analysis
with potential applications to Mechanics and to provide a forum for fruitful interactions
in related fields of research.
New Trends in Contact Mechanics and Related Topics, Universidade da Coruña, June 28, 2019
International Workshop was organized by Universidade da Coruña. The presentation were given
by researchers from UDC, Spain and Universidad Austral, Argentina. The program can be found
in the annoumcement.
The ETAMM2020 conference provides an opportunity for dissemination of important and recent results in the field
of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, and their Applications to Physics, Engineering Sciences, Biology, and Economy.
The conference brings together mathematicians, interdisciplinary scientists, and engineers from all over the world
to exchange experience and ideas, and initiate new research collaborations.
The conference comprises Minisymposium Nr 5 on
"Analysis and Approximation of Variational and Hemivariational Inequalities" organized by CONMECH members
Weimin Han (University of Iowa, USA), Stanislaw Migorski (Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland), and
Mircea Sofonea (Universite de Perpignan Via Domitia, France). This minisymposium is devoted to recent advances
in mathematical analysis, numerical solution and applications of variational and hemivariational inequalities.
The topics of the minisymposium include, but are not limited to, modeling of problems leading to variational
and hemivariational inequalities, well-posedness results, properties of solutions, numerical analysis,
optimal control and optimization, and applications in mechanics and engineering. The minisymposium aims
at promoting collaborations among researchers of all stages on variational and hemivariational inequalities
and their applications.
Concerning the situation with the pandemic of coronavirus disease and unpredictable future measures,
the organizing committee decided to cancel ETAMM2020.
The Conference ETAMM2020 switches to ETAMM2022. For further
details, please visit
ETAMM2022 page.
